BlackGold Labradors produces Black, Yellow, and Chocolate litters. Our goal is to help you find a puppy that fits everything that you want in a Retriever. Whether it be a dog to compete in field trials with or a dog to have as a hunting companion and family member, we will find the perfect puppy for you.

All our puppies are born in our home so that we can keep a close eye on them; and they have the best opportunities to be extremely well socialized. We give them every opportunity to get socialization and experience life. Our puppies are bred to be free of genetic defects, good looking, and intelligent. To the best of our knowledge, our breeding stock is free of common hereditary defects such as hip dysplasia, inherited elbow problems, and progressive retinal trophy. Note: We do not remove dew claws. We do not believe that this is in the best interest of the dog. In our many years of owning labs we have never had a dog catch his dewclaw and feel that this is a painful and unnecessary procedure.

We are serious about breeding Labradors. We are not your average "back yard breeder" and carefully choose who our puppies go home to. That is why we feel sure you will be pleasedwith your puppy.
